I am going to a Welcome Home party for my friend who is in the marines and just got home from serving 9 months in Iraq. The party is at a country club on Long Island and will be in the day time but were taking a limo and it's pretty guaranteed that we'll be going out afterward. Any suggestions for something that can transition day to night? The direction on dress was fancy casual. I was thinking a dress. I usually dress pretty preppy, colorful kind of looks.
