My boyfriend's parents invited me to go to midnight mass with the family this Christmas. I'm honored to be invited but I've never been to church in my life (with the exception of a couple of weddings). What does one wear to church nowadays? It's going to be cold, but I hate wearing dress pants, so if I can't wear jeans, I'd prefer a dress or skirt with heavy tights. Can you help?
