Personal Shopper: Sequin Tank

Hey there! I got this awesome sequin tank top from the J.Crew outlet and I'm having trouble figuring out how to wear it. The funny part is I wore it today styled casually, but I can't figure out how to fancy it up for NYE! You'd think a sequin top would be easy, right? I don't know why, but I'm struggling! Any ideas for dressing this up for New Year's are appreciated. I'll probably be outside for at least part of the evening with nighttime temps in the low 50's.
