I start student teaching as a high school math teacher in January. I am 24, and have a 4 year-old daughter, but evidently I look about 18. When I've done other things at high schools students often think I am one of them, and it can be embarrassing! I don't want to dress too old for my age, but I need something that makes me stand out from the students besides 2 piece suits. I have been looking all over for "teacher clothes" but everything I find seems way to old for me. I mean, the clothes have shoulder pads! Heels are a must as I am only 5'3" and I usually wear a size 8. Nowadays teenagers dress so old for their age, so it's hard to find something stylish that looks mature. Thanks so much!
