Based on the blog by the same name, the idea for "Small Indulgences" came to light in the midst of preparing 24 mini-cheesecakes for a Christmas party. After spending the previous year churning ideas for the perfect bakeshop over and over, and testing a variety of approaches, products, and sales techniques - all with varying degrees of success, author Jeanine Reed finally hit upon the concept, by doing what she loved doing most - making mini desserts in maximum variety. Mini cakes (i.e., cupcakes), mini cheesecakes, mini breads, danish, croissants, the list goes on and on... a love for all things mini and a passion for the confectionery arts finally crossed paths and "Small Indulgences" was born. This book is a journey through the world of mini treats and tiny sweets, including recipes, photos, and stories to inspire and delight.
