My boyfriend is in a fraternity in college and his fraternity's formal is coming up, at the end of April, and the dress code is FORMAL. Meaning long dresses for us ladies. I am pretty petite (5'2"). I detest strapless, I've just never gotten the hang of it. So I think that you can understand my frustrations with finding something appropriate for this event, that doesn't cost hundreds of dollars, has straps, and won't trail the ground due to my height. I'm pretty pale, so I like deep blues and greens and reds. I'm totally lost! Help a girl out?
