What to Wear: to Flatter a Large Bust

This week, I'm going to cover figure flattery in the What to Wear series. So, let's kick it off with an issue that I personally have to deal with: big boobs!

The best advice I can give for someone with a large chest is to find a good bra. Go somewhere that does bra fittings and find some well-made, supportive bras, and I promise that your clothes will fit better on top of them.

But there are other tricks to flattering a large chest. Wear simple styles on top that are fitted but not skin-tight. A scoop or v-neck is most flattering, as long as it's not too low (but go ahead and show a little bit of cleavage if you want). I personally avoid double-breasted styles, tucks, gathers, pleats or anything else that may bunch and pull. And while it's best to avoid super-tight tops, I'd stay away from very loose tops and empire waists as well. I tend to look like I'm wearing a circus tent when I try on a flowy, billowing top.

Here's a look that will look great on almost any large-chested woman.
