To celebrate the Rockstars, Old Navy let me choose a pair of my own and asked me to use Instagram to show you a Day in the Life of my Rockstar jeans. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a pretty boring day, but even though I didn't do anything too exciting, I loved wearing my Rockstars all day. They're so comfy!
My husband and I went to Old Navy first thing in the morning so that I could pick out my Rockstars.
I loved all of the colors! Like a rainbow of twill and corduroy! I considered green, yellow, and blue...
But then, after trying on about 6 pairs, I decided on this bright plum, because it's one of the top colors for the fall.
I was so stoked that I wore them out of the store.
I had an early meeting in New York the next day, so I was going to head up in the afternoon, check into my hotel, and then have dinner and drinks with a friend. I tried the Rockstars on with a simple sweater and flats.
But I just wasn't feeling it for a night out in NYC. So I put together something a bit more special.
Now we're talkin'! But then I checked the forecast and it was calling for thunderstorms and tornadoes (yikes!) so I put together a backup look just in case of torrential downpours.
I took the train up from Philly to NYC (the car was nearly empty - score!)
But then, when I got up there, the weather was so bad that I didn't want to leave my hotel room and my friend didn't to leave her house. Boo! So, I ordered takeout Vietnamese (mmm, Pho!) and watched Friends. Exciting, huh?
But that's okay. Because I'll just wear my Rockstars again when we go out to dinner this weekend!
Now that they're on sale, I'm going to head back out and pick the Rockstars up in a few more colors. I'm definitely a fan of these flattering skinny jeans - are you?
