What to Wear: to Fashion Week

Sob story: I was supposed to head up to New York this week for NYFW and some fashion blogger conferences. I had my schedule planned, and was excited to stay with my friends in the city, but something else came up and I had to cancel my plans and stay home this week. Waaaah.

I suppose it's a good thing I hadn't spent any significant time planning my outfits yet, though. Because planning for Fashion Week, especially in September, is hard. It's hot, it's crowded, and unless you're a celeb or major player in the fashion world, you may end up standing at some (or all) of the shows. Plus, you'll be running all around the city. So, for me, the priorities would be something lightweight, with comfy shoes.
