Intel Inspired Ultrabook™ Fashion Inspiration: Denim

For week #7 of my partnership with Intel Inspired Ultrabook™, we're finding inspiration in denim. This week, while browsing on my Ultrabook™, I found inspiration by looking at denim through the decades.

Levi's first introduced jeans for women in the 1930's, when they had a primarily western look.

In the early 40's, J. Howard Miller featured a women in denim in his Rosie the Riveter poster. And check her out in this Rockwell painting!

Marilyn Monroe is known for her glamorous wardrobe, but she also looked fabulous when kicking back in jeans and denim jackets back in the 50's and 60's.

And in the 70's, Charlie's Angels brought bell bottoms to the fashion forefront.

By the late 70's, punk icons like Patti Smith and Debbie Harry looked tough and sexy in their denim.

In 1980, Brooke Shields wore denim in an iconic Calvin Klein campaign.

I've always been a Picasso fan, and his Blue Nude is one of my favorites.

I went blueberry picking last month, ate a ton of them fresh, and still have several pounds that I froze. I want to put them in everything!

When I was in college, I used to dye my hair with different colors of Manic Panic. I've been feeling nostalgic about it lately. If I wasn't in my late 30's, and had a lifestyle that allowed it, maybe I'd go blue for a while.
