I love that Kayla from Freckles in April decided to do a Fictional Boyfriend post, because, well, to be perfectly honest, I'm glad I'm not the only person who becomes smitten with fake boys!
I lurve Dana's My Fictional Boyfriend series. Because, well, I have a lot of those. A few of which Dana has thoroughly covered (oh hello, Jim Halpert, aren't you looking perfectly disheveled today!)
Ladies and..other ladies of the jury, I give you: Ned the Pie Maker.
Ned the Pie Maker was part of a tragically short-lived series called Pushing Daisies that is mercifully available on Netflix and, apparently, the WB.
If you are not familiar, may I suggest you pull up a chair and have yourself a nice little tv party? Because not only is Ned the Pie Maker devilishly handsome, but he has a fantastically darling dead-but-not girlfriend named Charlotte "Chuck" Charles (who I happen to have a girl crush on). And the way that man looks at her with those big eyes and that devastating crooked smile will reduce you to a sighing puddle of contented goo.
Get the party started with this darling (and sadly un-embeddable) clip on YouTube. (I should explain that Ned and Chuck can't touch because otherwise she'll die again for good. Aaand you'll have to watch the show to figure out what on earth I'm talking about there). Just tryyyy to resist that smile. I dare you.
