Here is another outfit that I wore last week. If you'd have told me a year ago that I'd be wearing lacy black shorts to work, I'd have said that you were insane, but I fell for these shorts when I saw them on
Free People's website, and I just had to have them. To make them more appropriate for daytime, I paired them with a masculine button-down (that I didn't iron - don't judge).
The headband is actually a vintage scarf. I've got a whole drawer full of scarves that I never wear, but I was inspired after watching this
video by Erin from
Design for Mankind to turn one into a turban. I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to pull it off, but I think it looks pretty good!
