Confession: It’s been quite some time since I actually went “back to school” and honestly I kind of miss the excitement surrounding that first day back on campus. In my younger years, my mom would always take me to pick out a new outfit and any school supplies I needed. I always gravitated to the most girlie clothes and supplies (think Trapper Keepers with unicorns and rainbows and the likes). In high school and college, I still got excited about the first day of classes…although, my attire and accessories became a tad more sophisticated. Well, with parents, kids and young adults gearing up for the new school year, I felt inspired to pull together a list of things I might invest in if I were headed back to school. Here’s what I came up with:
