Singles came out twenty years ago this month - in 1992, my freshman year of college. My friend and I skipped our Friday classes to see it that morning, and then hid in the theater and watched it again. I wanted to move to Seattle and live like these super-cool twenty-somethings, but most of all, I wanted to steal the grunge-tastic wardrobe of Janet, played by Bridget Fonda.
The crazy thing is, if you go to any city in the U.S. today, you'll see women wearing pretty much the same exact styles now. None of these outfits look dated in the least, and they are 20 years old!
