Back in 2009, I put together a simple Angelina Jolie Halloween Costume, but after her leggy appearance at this year's Oscars, I think she deserves another go. It was pretty much impossible to find a black evening gown with a slit for under a few hundred dollars, so I used simple black separates instead.

Fashion Redemption: Angelina Jolie

Every time I feature Angie Jo in a Fashion Redemption post, I get at least one email telling me that I'm being unfair to her. And maybe it's true. Because if, say, Lindsay Lohan wore this, I'd probably think that it was a classy step up for her.

But, as I say each time, Angelina is widely considered to be one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and she can't be arsed (sorry, feeling a tad British today) to wear something that fits. Or to wear a color. Or to have someone iron her dress before she puts it on. I know that she's never going to wear a bright, sequinned, ruffly party dress, and that's okay. But I think I found something that's in her wheelhouse, but not so funereal.

Every time I do a Fashion Redemption for old Angie Jo, I feel like I need to explain myself: this honestly isn't bad. It doesn't offend my eyeballs or anything like that. It's just so boring. Angelina is considered to be one of the most beautiful women on the planet, and she has a beautiful figure, so I can't understand why she continues to drape herself in these blah colorless sacks.
