Fashion Redemption: Rihanna
THESE ARE PAJAMAS.
I honestly had a hard time doing a Fashion Redemption for this one, because I was so tempted to make this:
But I can't. Also, I honestly think that this is SO AWESOME. If it was social acceptable and not completely ridiculous to go to fancy events in my jammies, I so would. But it's not. It's SO not.
On another positive note, I'm glad she ditched the blonde 70's shag. Her hair looks amazing.
Since Rihanna would never show up in a basic cocktail dress and simple pumps, here's something that's a bit funky, but, you know, NOT PAJAMAS.

I've been all about the tribal prints lately, so when I saw this dress on Rihanna, I was immediately smitten. I love this whole look on her - it's edgy but still soft. Nice work, Ri-ri!

This makes no sense to me. Her top, shorts and knee socks look like Rihanna's getting ready to go hang out at a redneck bar, but her heavy cardigan and clunky clogs look like she's home sick with the flu.

Fashion Redemption: Rihanna
First thing's first: I dig the hair. The bright color might look wacky on someone else, but it looks perfect or Ri-ri. And the length is so much softer and more flattering than the semi-mohawk.
But the outfit? A world of no. The world doesn't need to see your bra, Rihanna, especially when it's paired with my jeans from 1993.
