Celebrity Look for Less: Emma Watson Style

Adorable Emma took a summery dress and made it fall-appropriate by layering it with black pieces. Here's an equally versatile look at a much lower price.

Blazer $30 // Dress $55 // Tights $3 // Shoes $7 // Scarf $50 // Earrings $13

Inspired By: Emma Watson in "The Perks of Being a Wallflower"

I caught "The Perks of Being a Wallflower" last week, and thought it was pretty good. I'd always loved the book, so I figured I'd dig the film. Unfortunately, I think Emma Watson was miscast as Sam, which is a shame, because I wanted to love her.

She looked fantastic, though. Her 90's wardrobe was awesome!

If you want to be inspired by the look of a 1990's Manic Pixie Dream Girl, then here's how you do it.

Jacket $40 // Necklace $3 // Dress $50 // Skirt $45 // Boots $83 // Sweater $40 // Barrettes $2 // Top $40

Inspired By: Hermione Granger

Once again, I've geeked out and found inspiration in the Harry Potter series. Hermione Granger didn't have the most exciting wardrobe in the films. But when she wasn't wearing her Hogwarts uniform, she always looked cute and casual. She always had more important things on her mind than fashion, but always managed to look effortlessly adorable. And on the rare occasions that she dressed up, she looked stunning.

Here are some Hermione-inspired pieces - some may seem out of season for August, and they are, but snag them now, while they're on crazy sale!

Girl Crush: Emma Watson

It's weird admitting a girl crush on a celebrity whom I've basically watched grow up. I mean, Emma shot the first Harry Potter movie when she was nine years old, and now, she's an elegant adult with a remarkable sense of style. She can rock a party dress like nobody's business, she's never afraid to be edgy or offbeat, and she loves to experiment with hair and makeup as well.

Here are some pieces that I think Emma would love to wear if she wasn't receiving comps from top designers. You know, if she was one of the regular people like us.

1. Skirt $158
2. Dress $50
4. Shoes $35
6. Dress $23

Fashion Redemption: Emma Watson

I'll be honest: I actually like this on Emma, and I don't really think that she needs a redemption. She looks adorable.

But here's the thing: almost anyone else on the planet would look like they were in the Ice Capades. It's kind of ridiculous. So while Emma can work it, here's a redemption for the rest of us. It costs just $90.75.

Hermione Granger Halloween Costume

Those of us who have been watching the Harry Potter movies since the beginning have literally watched Hermione Granger grow up. So it's no wonder that she's such a popular Halloween costume.

Fashion Redemption: Emma Watson

Let's get this out of the way: I love the hair.

But what I don't love is the dress/pants combo, although I can forgive the misbuttoned cardigan. Hey - we all have our bad days, right? Emma looks cute no matter what, but with these updates, she'd look even cuter. And all for $93.37!
